SILVERTREE TOWNHOME CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION

This is to notify our owners/members of the 2005 Senate Bill 100 that will affect almost all aspects of the operation and governance of Colorado's common interest communities from how board members are elected to the policies associations are required to adopt. SB 100 not only amends several existing provisions of the Colorado Common Interest Owners Act (CCIOA) which governs associations, but it also adds entirely new sections for board members and managers to master. Additionally, several sections of the statute are subject to an association's existing governing documents.

Disclosure of these changes and existing documents seems to be the intent of the Legislature to better inform owners/members of common interest communities.
